Sera Koi Professional 24000 Pond Filter

A powerful and space-saving pond filtration system designed for ponds up to 40,000 liters (10,568 US gal.) and Koi ponds up to 24,000 liters (6,340 US gal.).

The Sera Koi Professional 24000 combines modern engineering with efficient design and an attractive exterior. It is developed based on the latest flow technology for optimal water treatment.

Water is purified through a four-step process:

First, it passes through a physical stage where UV-C radiation reduces pathogens and algae. It then flows into a detention chamber before entering the mechanical filtration stage, which uses a bowed stainless steel split sieve with a 200 µm mesh to capture coarse debris and algae cells that have been affected by UV-C treatment.

To combat algae blooms (green water), optional fine-mesh filter sponges can be easily inserted beneath the sieve, helping to remove even single-celled algae. If the sponges are not cleaned in time, a safety overflow directs water into the biological filtration stage.

In the biological stage, water is distributed through a Matala mat, enriched with oxygen, and filtered over high-performance sera siporax pond media, where beneficial bacteria break down impurities. Finally, the purified water returns to the pond through a final detention stage.
