Sera Reptil Desert UV-B Compact Lamp 10% is a compact fluorescent lamp designed to replicate desert sunlight conditions inside terrariums. Its light spectrum is specifically tuned for arid habitats, providing a high level of UV-B radiation (10%) to support the healthy development and well-being of reptiles and other terrarium inhabitants.
The lamp promotes natural behavior, proper vitamin D synthesis, healthy growth, and reproduction, while also enhancing the natural coloration of animals. It can be ideally combined with Sera Reptil Daylight Compact 2% UV-B as a base lighting source for a more balanced lighting setup.
Energy-efficient and suitable for standard E27 screw sockets, the lamp does not require an external ballast. It is also recommended by land turtle breeders for optimal care conditions.
This is a specialized terrarium lighting product and is not intended for general household illumination. As it contains copper, it must not be disposed of with household waste and should instead be taken to a local hazardous waste collection facility.
